Poster abstract submission guidelines

Poster abstract submission guidelines

Authors who wish to present a poster during the 4th European Fascia Congress shall send an abstract following the instructions explained on these Guidelines.

Abstract format

Proposal must fit within one page in length (approximately 370 words). Anything longer than this will be rejected.

Proposal shall follow the editing rules (see below) otherwise submission will be rejected.

Abstracts will appear on the Web and Congress Book exactly as submitted, i.e. no corrections, additions, revisions or deletions can by made by European Fascia Congress. Only the submitting author may make any revisions or corrections to the approved abstract. All revisions must be received no later than 4th September 2016.

Suggested topics include:

  • Neurophysiology and neurobiology of perception
  • Pathologies of the fascia and of perception
  • Training and assessing bodily perception
  • Body movement, self-awareness and embodied presence: clinical applications and pragmatic methods and tools
  • Bodily perception within physiotherapy practice, particularly in the field of mental health

Submissions can be either trialed or reflective, and may refer to case studies, clinical or qualitative studies, special populations, new hypothesis, education, etc.

These are suggestions. If your idea does not fall into one of these categories it will not necessarily be rejected, if the submission focuses on bodily perception or contributes to the understanding of the fascia’s function within the therapeutic approach of body movement.

Abstracts must be submitted in English or in French and if accepted, posters should be laid in the same language.

The abstract shall be not previously published, whatever the form and support, and must respect intellectual property rights.
