Lezing Dr. Philippe Rosier op sportcongres Brussel: Integrative Neuromuscular Training based on principles of Danis Bois
Research from the sixties teaches us that the control of human movement results from the interaction of our brain and specific muscles. However, contemporary research has increasingly shown that human movement is a result of the synergy of muscle contractions determined by the interaction of intention and space. So why are we, as physiotherapists and physical trainers, still training individual muscles?
In this lecture, Philippe will present the theoretical background and initial results of a current study on Integrative Neuromuscular Training, based on the principles of Fasciatherapy by Danis Bois, including all Red Flames (national Football team Belgium).
Philippe has a masters in physiotherapy, a masters in psychopedagogy and a PhD in Social Sciences. His pratice and research focus on recovery and injury-prevention. Philippe is the Health and Performance manager of the RBFA.
